About Greg...
In 1994, Greg and his wife adopted, CD, a 7 month-old Akita/Pitbull mix. They sought Alyeska Canine Trainers in Anchorage, Alaska to help train their very smart new dog. They enjoyed taking ongoing classes so much with CD that he and his wife joined the club. Soon they were assisting experienced trainers, evolving into co-teaching, and finally training on their own.
In 2004 Greg and his wife moved to Reno, and decided to take their training full time. Eventually, he founded Gregarious Dog Training, LLC, providing in-home consultations, group training classes, and assistance for many area rescues.
His training focus consists of dog friendly, scientifically backed methods approved by the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior.

Trainer Liza Beth Oliveto
About Liza Beth...
After spending 15 years as a teaching tennis professional, Liza Beth took her degree and teaching background and pivoted to her passion of helping dogs and their people. Beth has spent decades involved with shelters, rescues and foster care, gaining her insight to many different dog breeds and the hurdles they can face transitioning to life in a home. Her own special needs dogs, including a deaf born border collie, lead Beth to start Whole Dog Training, LLC in 2019. Clients can expect loving leadership and guidance to teach dogs to live in our human world. By using training that's fun and rewarding, her mission is helping people understand dog psychology to establish improved connection and good leadership skills with their dogs. Whole Dog Training provides private lessons, in-home-training, small group lessons, pack walks, and enrichment classes.
